Lake Norman, North Carolina Parks & Recreation Guide

If you’re in search of fun outdoor activities, the Lake Norman area has a lot to like. Whether you’re into golfing, boating, swimming, or sports, this place has you covered. Check out Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Carolinas’ guide to Lake Norman Parks & Recreation.

Kincaid Trail

The Kincaid Trail in Davidson is the go-to spot for cyclists. Tackling this three-mile course on a mountain bike is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Blythe Landing

This 24-acre green space has a sunning beach, a playground, and picnic areas. Its floating piers make it easy to launch a boat and spend a day on Lake Norman. The volleyball courts are a blast, and can be reserved for private parties if needed.

Jetton Road Neighborhood Park

With its tree-lined walking trail, comfortable picnic areas, and spacious field, it's no wonder that this place is a local favorite. It’s an ideal place to toss a Frisbee around with the kids, to walk the dog, or to spend an afternoon in quiet contemplation.

Ada Jenkins Athletic Field

This is an awesome spot for a friendly game of soccer or football. There’s plenty of space for running around, playing catch, and turning cartwheels in the grass.
